I was thinking about setting up a whole new section for this but will give it a go here first, being a busy mum of 5 and getting very little time to myself, it's hard for us all to know a few top tips in life to make things a little easier, be it cleaning, feeding, cooking, DIY, whatever.
My tip Number 1.
Did you know if you get stung by a wasp WD40 cures it faster than anything else? i've tried!
I have a wasps nest in the attic so had to do the research and it worked, the pain was gone almost instantly and the swelling, odd tip, but true!

You can get a deep splinter out by mixing a little drop of fairy liquid with a few grains of sugar on the pad of a plaster, then stick the plaster over the splinter for 24 hours. Miraculously it softens the skin so you can just wipe the splinter away!

If you still have the wasps nest try using ant powder (it's cheaper than the stuff you buy for destroying wasp nests). Wait until dusk when it's quietened down and give a good squirt into the entrance the wasps are using. They go through the powder which gives off a gas in confined space and destroys the nest. You might need a 2nd dose a few days later if theres still activity. Oh and have some WD40 near by...

If a little one has Nappy Rash dab a wee bit of Corn flour over the area and it clears that up nicely.

You girls who wear mini skirt, you get chewing gum on your nylon knickers, here are two steps to get rid of that unwanted gum of them:-
Step 1 put your underwear in the freezer over night.
Step 2 pull them out the following morning, you can then pull the chewing of your knickers and it would not be left with a big rip in them.
Nylon knickers????? Jeez, Kyber...you know some classy birds....
