Next Wednesday (9 April 2003) the market moves to the temporary site on Bramsche Square so work can start on redeveloping the current site to give the town a facility fit for the 21st century.
Time will tell if the new market is an improvement. It almost certainly will be and we should all know within the next four months.
In the meantime part of the town's history is coming to an end and a temporary facility is being built which will in turn pass into history. I've been out and about taking shots of the development and the current market and will post more pictures under this topic soon.
The first set of picture are of the building of the temporary market and the closure of Bramsche Square.
